The Industry presents a new site-specific production of STAR CHOIR by interdisciplinary artists Malik Gaines and Alexandro Segade. STAR CHOIR tracks a group of humans who attempt to colonize a hostile planet after the Earth’s decline. Through fantasy and critique, it asks urgent questions facing humanity amidst a confluence of natural and political crises. STAR CHOIR explores disaster migration, fugitivity, and colonization as they apply to our difficult histories and our best visions of a potential future.
